“Thank you for saying that.” She blinked quickly, and she heard a rustle of blankets. Her mind detoured into a very unprofessional space. “Did you just get into bed?”

He laughed quietly. “Yeah. Are you?”

Our Review

This is the first book by author Jessica Scott that I have read. I was not disappointed in the least. As a lover of Military Romance this was a refreshing change getting the view point of a woman that had been to war, been injured and lost her husband.

Sarah is left widowed and raising her child as a single parent while in the military. She has no family to help her and finds her self overwhelmed at times. I love how strong she is and how much she loves her little girl and does not give up.

Now Sean is back in her life. A love from long ago. Can they forgive each other and make a life together? I was cheering for them the entire time!

This was an amazing and heart warming story from start to finish. The characters were very likable, well developed and the story flowed beautifully. I highly recommend this wonderful story.

Zack Love graduated from Harvard College, where he studied mostly literature, psychology, philosophy, and film. After college, he moved to New York City and took a corporate consulting job that had absolutely nothing to do with his studies. The attacks of September 11, 2001 inspired him to write a novelette titled “The Doorman” and heightened his interest in the Middle East. A decade later, that interest extended to the Syrian Civil War, which provided the backdrop for his latest work. In late 2013, Zack began releasing his unpublished works of fiction and became a full-time author. He has published comedy, psychological and philosophical fiction, and romance. Stunningly Epic Story!

 

I have the most “Epic” book hangover that I think I have ever had.  As I read this story I was on the edge of my seat. You know your heart is going to break into a million pieces but you just cannot stop. And boy did my heart truly break!

This is an emotional story from the get go. The author has created the most amazing set of characters with so many layers to them that you wish you had someone as Epic as Kate in your life. If you think about it after you read this story you will realize that you do have Epic people in your life. This amazing book just helps you to see them.

Kate is a beautiful soul. I found myself laughing, smiling and feeling inspired by her. Here is a few quotes about her that I just loved:

ABOUT T.GEPHART

T Gephart is an indie author from Melbourne,
Australia.



T's approach to
life has been somewhat unconventional. Rather than going to University, she
jumped on a plane to Los Angeles, USA in search of adventure. While this first
trip left her somewhat underwhelmed and largely depleted of funds it fueled her
appetite for travel and life experience.



With a rather
eclectic resume, which reads more like the fiction she writes than an actual
employment history, T struggled to find her niche in the world.



While on a
subsequent trip the United States in 1999, T met and married her husband. Their
whirlwind courtship and interesting impromptu convenience store wedding set the
tone for their life together, which is anything but ordinary. They have lived
in Louisiana, Guam and Australia and have travelled extensively throughout the
US. T has two beautiful young children and one four legged child, Woodley the
wonder dog.



An avid reader, T
became increasingly frustrated by the lack of strong female characters in the
books she was reading. She wanted to read about a woman she could identify
with, someone strong, independent and confident who didn't lack femininity. Out
of this need, she decided to pen her first book, A Twist of Fate. She enjoyed
the process so much that when it was over she couldn't let it go.



T loves to travel,
laugh and surround herself with colourful characters. This inevitably spills
into her writing and makes for an interesting journey - she is well and truly
enjoying the ride!



Based on her life
experiences, T has plenty of material for her books and has a wealth of ideas
to keep you all enthralled.
