A first love a first kiss and friendship. This was so sweet, I loved this book it reminded me of my many firsts.
Amy is a freshman who meets a boy named Mason he’s a sophomore, they hit it off immediately they have a lot in common and Mason can’t believe that Amy likes everything he likes. Their friendship blossoms and stays strong all throughout high school. Amy gets hurt horseback riding one day and Mason finds her, she spends a lot of time in therapy and through it all Mason is there with her and when the insurance runs out Mason helps Amy with her physical therapy. Amy and Mason are the best of friends always spending time together.
Mason leaves for college and Amy knows she will miss him, her dad hires Jesse to help out around the farm and Amy started spending some time with him. They develop a friendship and Amy finds herself spending more and more time with him. She is attracted to him. Eventually things heat up between them and Amy likes the way he makes her feel and she wants to do more with him but she is unsure. Mason comes home to visit during his breaks at college like he promised and Amy loves to see him when he comes home. Will Amy take it further with Jesse? Does he feel the same way for her? What will happen with Mason? Will Amy and Mason realize there is more than friendship between them?
This is a great short story and I loved it!! I give it 5 stars!!
