My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Dragonfly Kisses is the second book in the Tryst Island Series and it did not disappoint. This is the story of Cassie and Dylan. Cassie is one of the roommates in the house next to Dylan, and she is the one who plays the cello. Many nights he has heard this music and listened to it, never knowing who was playing it. Dylan is suffering from a bad loss in his life and he just wants to hide away and drink himself to death it seems, he just is too heartbroken. Then he gets a look at his neighbor next door and he starts watching for her whenever anyone is next door, for months he hopes to get a glimpse of her. Dylan even found out about a concert she was doing and he went to see it just to see her without her seeing him. One day he takes a run on the beach and falls and twists his ankle and 4 of the women from next door run to help him, and Cassie is one of them, and he only has eyes for her!

Cassie is a sweet young woman who has always lived her life doing everything her parents wanted her to do, and up to now has not really lived. Sure, she has seen a lot of places and people adore her, but it is not really fulfilling to her. She needs something else in her life. Her parents even try to pick out her dates and that usually ends up being a disaster! When she sees Dylan for the first time she is entranced by him and his bad boy looks, and even though two of her roommates are trying to help him get home, fighting over him, he keeps looking at her, not believing he finally is up close enough to really see her! Luckily one of them has to leave and so Cassie brings some crutches to Dylan and they really start bonding right away. She goes back later that night and stays with him.

Their road to be together is hard, and a lot of obstacles get in their way, and now Cassie has to decide if she is going to go on a concert tour around the world her parents booked her for (without even asking her if she wanted to go) the next several months, or will she stay and be with Dylan? You will have to read and find out.

I loved this book! I loved how well it was written, and I loved the sexual angst between the two of them, and how the story unfolded, how the end comes about. There is so much to read about in a small number of pages because it moves at a fast pace and I did not put it down until I finished it! This book packed a punch and it was awesome to watch these two damaged people learn how to live again, and to learn how to deal with all their feelings for each other and everyone else as well.

I gave this book 5***** stars and I highly recommend this book to everyone!
